First weekend in May, sports enthusiasts from all over Montana are gearing up to attend one of the most anticipated track and field competitions of the year! The Archie Roe Invitational, hosted annually at the Legends Stadium in Kalispell, is set to attract over 1,000 participants from across the state. Named after the beloved Flathead High School supporter, Archibald Dean Roe, this event has been promoting and celebrating Montana’s young athletes for an impressive 44 years.

The unique three-track structure of the Archie Roe Invitational promises to deliver an exciting experience, with athletes of all levels and age groups competing in boys and girls varsity, junior varsity, and freshman categories. To make the competition even more engaging, each group is awarded scores separately, ensuring that everyone has a chance to shine.
